Elzybells Challange…Pattern Paper
It's time for a card challenge with Elzybells stamps. Challenge #35 is make your own patterned paper using stamps. This was definitely a challenge for me but I'm proud to share these two cards. For the first card I started out by drawing a grid using a pencil. After I had drew out the squares I stamped a small solid heart using Pink Lemonade, Chocolate Brownie, and Strawberry Fool. I erased the grid and stamped my valentine between the rows. I was going to leave the card along but everything can use bling so I placed small gems between each heart. For the second card I started out ...
Sneak Peak…Day Four…
It's day four and I have great ideas for quick gifts using Elzybells products. For my first project I used several stamp sets and created a frosted coffee bag to hold sweet treats. The first layer is stamped with swirls and dot stamps both from Heartstrings and the loves me loves me not is from Seasonal Sentiments 2. The second layer is a circle of hearts with two smaller hearts from Valentine Tags 2. All that was needed was ribbon and buttons from my stash. When creating gift bags I always attach the top with brads just so everything stays in place! I needed ...
Day Three…Another Sneak Peak…
Day three of the sneak peak for Elzybells new stamps and these are by far my favorite! I'm a gift giver and I love making things just to make people happy so this set was perfect for me. I used Tags Valentine I & II for both of these projects and they gave my packages the finishing touch they needed. The next two projects were done using containers that when empty look totally different in my eyes! The first project was an empty bottle that used to hold hot cocoa mix and after the mix was gone it's perfect for jelly beans. I ...
Sneak Peak Day Two…
Here's Day Two of Elzybells Sneak Peak Stamps and these are one of my favorites!! Oh how I love this sweet little girl with balloons! I made these cards pretty similar by using layers of card stock and simple sentiments. After coloring the images with watercolor pencils I added glitter on and around the balloons for a bling element. The first card I trimmed out a second balloon image and over lapped on the first set of balloons to make it seem like she was be lifted away! I added green dot ribbon to this card for a contrast in color. I think this one is ...
Day One of Elzybells Sneak Peak!…
Yeah! Today is the first day of Elzybells sneak peaks. After getting a box full of goodies I got right to work so I hope I didn't go overboard! All of these projects were made using Heartstrings & Heartstrings sentiments. I first stamped the heart and the sentiment on Vanilla Cupcake cardstock and popped them both with foam squares. I used the Je t'aime stamp to create a background for clear buttons. I stamped the wording onto cardstock, adhered the buttons with twine, and cut around the buttons. This simple sentiment would make a perfect baby card! My second project is a sweet notebook that is tied up ...
Valentine Cupcake Toppers…
These are super simple to make and all you need to so is more cupcakes! I'm always baking for my co-workers and they love getting handmade gifts from me so what better way then to give them the best of both worlds! I started a mini assembly line but punching out the circles and hearts, inked all the pieces, and tied twine in the buttons. I first sandwiched a toothpick between the two circles using a heavy duty adhesive. After the circles were put together all I had to do was attach the embellishments. These are available in my Etsy ...
You & Me Valentine Card…
Another Day off which gives me sometime to go to my crafting space. I got several cards and Birthday gifts done but wanted to share this card with you. I started out the morning by cleaning out my stash and putting everything into a giveaway pile and a keep pile. My mom loves it when I go through my stuff cause she gets all the goodies! So as I was digging through everything I came across this chipboard couple and thought they needed a card to live on. I kept the card really simple by layering paper and only adding ribbon ...
Be My Valentine Notebook…
I had the day off Thursday and I don't know what got into me but I got quite a bit done with some new paper from Making Memories. One of my favorite projects was this cute little notebook. I started out by cutting the paper to fit around the entire pad to form a cover over the front. I then used some heavy duty adhesive on the back so everything would stay together. Gaffers measuring tape was used down the front and pink gems circle the number 14. I then scallop punched the cover, added embellishments, and tied it all together with a ...
LOVE Banner….
So this is the first banner I made for Valentine's Day. I made this one using 4 by 4 sqaures of chipboard so my mini pad of paper would fit perfect. After placing the paper together for a base I started adding glittered chipboard letters, ribbon, gems, and so much more. These banners are a great way to use spare embellishments and you can use a ton of them! After making holes in the top I then added about a yard of black ribbon for easy hanging over a fireplace or even on a wall!!

This is one of my favorite tins so far for the holiday season!! I started out with a naked band aid tin then added pattern paper from Making Memories. I tend to hold on to various containers and tins because you never know when you can reuse! So I upcycled this tin gift card holder from a retail store by covering it with paper and embellishments. After I adhered the paper I used sand paper around the edges for a distressed look. I then dug in... [Read more of this review]
