Elzybells Sketch Challenge…
This simple Happy Mother’s Day card was created for Elzybells sketch Challenge #38. I started out layering some springtime Basic Grey papers with a white dot paper in the middle. I then stamped Happy Mother’s Day using stamp set Fervour Sentiments and all the inking was done with Chocolate Brownie. Hope everyone has a great day! Cute Project with Elzybells Stamps…

I’m up late finishing this project for Elzybells new spring stamps but it has turned out to be my favorite. I’m so glad to because its for my mom. I had a great childhood growing up with my mom always by my side and I wouldn’t change a thing. My mom has thought me to a kind, generous, independent person and for that I created this project. I started stamping flowers from the Floral fervour using different yellow inks and then later adding brown dots to the centers. I used the happy mother’s day circle stamp from the tags-floral circles set and added a cut out yellow flower. I then attached everything to my bag and added more embellishments such as gems, ribbon, and a matching button.
The cute little box holds a pretty pair of silver earrings that I know she will love and can wear with any outfit. I kept the box simple by using the stem stamp from Floral fervour to create a border. Next the circle stamp was used from the tags-floral circle set and is a great place for me to stamp to a dear mother which is from the Fervour sentiments set. I attached everything to matching paper and ribbon with the circle being popped for dimension. Matching gems and button were added last and tie the two in perfect!

Elzybells Sneak Peaks…
Another great day with Elzybells stamps and its time to post some creations! I’m trying to step outside my norm but the ribbon keeps getting the best of me. As you see in this card I started out by stamping different floral tops (floral fervour) and then adding stems using versamark ink. I then used clear embossing powder to give them a glossy look. The circle and the Happy Birthday were both from the tags-floral circle set. And last I added ribbon…sorry it got the best of me!
Here’s my other mini creations that I’m giving away to a great friend who does so much for me. I started out with 3 x6 Vanilla Cupcake cardstock and folded into mini cards. I stamped two flower circles from the tags-floral circles set and embellished with Stickles. I then inked all elements of the cards with Chocolate Brownie and even got to use a coordinating button. All that was needed was a little tulle and some pop dots! I think I’ll start making more! These are so easy if you get an assembly line going!
I love how each set is so different but you can mix and match each one to make some great looking cards! To see more creations using these stamps and other sets check out these designers…Inge Groot, Jen Allen, Moon Hulsman, and Rachel Sztonyk.
Think Spring with Elzybells Stamps…
Another day of sneakpeaks from Elzybells but only one creation to show you. You see my pets have taken it upon themselves to tear and devour my second creation. I will have to re create and show you the masterpiece tomorrow. But until then enjoy the card that survived.
This card was actually made using Making Memories paper and some simple stamping. I first stamped both the dandelion and the think spring circle onto white circles using Cinnamon Spice ink. Both of these stamps are from the Tags-floral circles stamp set and I just love circles. They make all your square cards look more balanced. With that being said all I needed to do was add ribbon, a pretty stick pin , and my stamped images.

Elzybells New Release…Day One
Even though my yard and parking space are still full of snow spring is on its way. What better way to celebrate than with some spring inspired stamps form Elzybells. I choose stamps that would be a bit of a challenge for me but I just love my results so far. The first creation is a card to let anyone know that you are thinking happy thoughts. I used the Floral fervour set to create the flower and stem. I used two different yellow inks to create the flower color and sponged on Cinnamon Spice last before stamping. I then used Cinnamon Spice for the stem and the sentiment. The sentiment comes from the Fervour Sentiments set and has so many possibilities. You will see more creations using this set in the days to come!
These little gift bags are great for special treats but I think I’ll use them for spring bulbs. I started out by stamping ten flowers from the Floral fervour set using Pink Lemonade. After cutting them all out I applied diamond stickles and set aside to dry. I went through my stash and found this perfect spring paper from Basic Grey. Then using another sentiment form Fervour sentiments I stamped all things grow with love. I used Cinnamon Spice for the stems on these flowers and pop dots to add some dimension. Simple inking around the edges and pink gems finish these spring inspired gift bags.
