Sometimes the most simple of cards takes me the longest to create.  I love this color combination but at first I had no idea how to pull it all together.  So I started out with red card stock then cut the pattern paper just a little smaller.  I then added a strip of teal and a strip of red with a simple Happy Birthday sentiment.  Pearls were added only because I felt the card needed a little embellishment.  I know the person receiving this is going to love it for the simple elegance!
