All I want to do is Shop…

Don’t worry I’m still here!  I’ve been so busy lately with traveling for work and trying to dig myself out from the BLIZZARD of 2010!  But since I’ve had so much time at home all I want to do is watch movies and do a little Etsy shopping.  I thought I would share with you a pair of copper earrings I purchsed last week.  I just got them in the mail today but I can’t wait to wear them.   I purchased them from SilverSmack  which has a great selection of silver, copper, and brass.  They have a hammered distressed look and would compliment any outfit.  I have a couple other pieces of copper and with these earrings I now have a complete set.  I can’t wait to show them off to everyone at work!

Baby Paper Chic Embellishments…

When you become a crafter you become a collector.  I mean when you by a container of brads are you really going to use all 100 of them?  So I came up with Paper Chic Embellishment Kits.  These kits allow me to create pre made embellishments while downsizing on my supplies.  All of these supplies are commercial made and I’m just combining products to make embellishments so you make cards and paper projects easier.  No two kits will be the same and they will be available on Etsy.  If you would like a kit made just for you with special colors or theme in mind please contact me.

Here is a baby embellishment kit that I created today using some notebooks to help inspire people to give handmade!  All you really need is matching card stock to wrap the notebook and adhesive.  You can tell by the picture that I have included a new ink pad and new pearl gems.  Yes this is what I find when I start cleaning out my crafting closet!  Check out my Etsy store for a complete list of supplies and this kit includes free shipping!!!

Happy New Year!…..

Happy New Year Everyone!!  Well another year has gone by and I  have some great news to share.  One of my goals for 2009 was to be part of a design team and guess what?  I made it!!  I’m part of the Elzybells design team and that means I get to make great creations using great products.  I’ve known for awhile and had a hard time keeping the excitement to myself but finally I can let it out.  I look forward to this new adventure and seeing what the other design team members come up with.  Be sure check out Elzybells Blog  and check back soon for sneak peaks and new creations!! 

Snowflake Cookies…

Okay I do have to admit that I am not at all a good cook but I would like to think that I’m a good baker.  But after making these snowflake sugar cookies I’m starting to think again.  The cookies taste great but why do you always have this vision of how great its going to turn out only to have the opposite happen.  Maybe I’m being to hard on myself so I guess I’ll eat this batch and try again!!  I did however get 12 cookie cutters for 4.99 at Michaels!!

Awesome Wrap Job…

My hubby is not a huge fan of the Christmas season and this wrap job proves it.  Every year he wraps my presents with scraps of paper including birthday, wedding , and even baby paper.  He has definitely out done himself by going green using the core of the paper as a handle!  He asks that no one copy his awesomeness!
