April Calendar Page…

I’ve had this done for awhile now but just kept putting off posting it. I couldn’t decide if I should add a mat but here it is.

The paper is from Basic Grey and the little bees were bought at Michael’s . I added some green ribbon to match the green letters that spell April.

Oh happy day!! I have the next three days off and nothing to do!! My goals with the time off…create new spring cards, list items on Etsy, and make some cute jewelry for my co-workers. I’m sure I’ll get one of them done. I’m also thinking about changing my website so that items can be purchased right from my site but that requires me to change from the theme I already have. I’m having a hard time letting this page go! I’m sure if my hubby finds something cute I’ll be making a change.

Well I did get my March page done for the calendar. Using October Afternoon paper, some felt flowers, and gems this page came together quite quick. I’ll be using the scraps to make a couple of other projects today and post them tomorrow! Have a great Weekend!!

February Calendar Page

Okay so I know that January is not over but I’m trying to keep this resolution and have this calendar complete. That to me means being ahead of the game and getting things done when I can. I bought all these goodies for this page and when I laid them all out I had to create this page.

I had to use more of the Basic Grey Bittersweet paper. Mixing the patterns and adding some matching brads. The flowers are from Prima which I purchased at Michael’s and the male/female signs are from Riffraffdesigns. I think I might have over embellished this page but it turned out so cute!

I guess now I can say I’m one month ahead!

Baby Girl Page

This is the last post I am going to make using this paper! I’ve had this paper forever and was stumped every time I went to create with it. The paper has so much going on and I didn’t want to cover anything so I just added a mat and embellishments. I used diamond stickles to bring out some of the patterns. Each flower also has a pearl center.

All Boy…Scrapbook Pages

For some reason I am trying to get away from all the flowers and girlie projects. My recent creation is this two page All Boy layout. I used Fancy Pants paper and punch out embellishments. I wanted to keep it simple so all I really added was brads and a couple of punched out stars!

Summer Fun

I can’t wait till summer! Unlike some people I would rather it be HOT outside so I can wear skirts and let my toes out. I created these pages to help me realize that summer is coming and maybe this year I’ll take some time off and get my toes in the sand. The paper is from Bo Bunny and the flowers are from Making Memories.

It’s a Boy!

First let me set the record straight..I am not having a baby. My brother and his wife are having their second child and this time around it’s a Boy! Finally I get to use blue and it has inspired me to create this two page layout. Embellishing a boy page is not as fun as a girl page but I was still able to throw a couple of flowers on it without making it feel to girlie.

Okay I’m not a huge Disney fan but I found these stickers and had to do something with them. It was more of a challenge just to see if I could do it. I started by printing chapter 2 from the book onto ivory paper and using a notebook punch to make it seem like it was torn right from the book. Then I added mats and matching pattern paper. All that was left was to add flowers, brads, and of course ribbon!! Enjoy!!

Making Memories…Garden Party

I thought this paper would make a great Girly page. The paper, flowers, brads, ribbon, and chipboard are all from making memories. The cardstock I used is from Bazzill. I then added Sweet Pea to finish the page off.

I bought this paper from Michael’s and couldn’t wait to use it. I thought I would have trouble putting things together but after cutting and matching up patterns it just all seem to work together. Flowers, Buttons, and Brads are also from Making Memories.
