Finally getting into my crafting space this weekend after a battle with a cold and some travel for work. I still have the cold but I slipped into my space and created this notebook. I haven’t been to my LSS lately so I dug through my stash and found this cute cherry paper that has a green dot pattern on the opposite side. After adhering the paper I added plaid ribbon, tulle, and matching green buttons. I stamped So Sweet of You onto white card stock then used foam dots to add dimension.
I’ll be traveling this week so post maybe light! Thanks for stopping by!
Sneak Peak Day Two…
Here’s Day Two of Elzybells Sneak Peak Stamps and these are one of my favorites!! Oh how I love this sweet little girl with balloons! I made these cards pretty similar by using layers of card stock and simple sentiments. After coloring the images with watercolor pencils I added glitter on and around the balloons for a bling element. The first card I trimmed out a second balloon image and over lapped on the first set of balloons to make it seem like she was be lifted away! I added green dot ribbon to this card for a contrast in color. I think this one is my fav!! The second card was kept simple with the image and the sentiment being lifted with foam squares and very little embellishment. To make it up for the lack of embellishments I stamped a single balloon on the inside. I really like the image of the lonely balloon and it would be great to layer for birthday cards!

Day One of Elzybells Sneak Peak!…
Yeah! Today is the first day of Elzybells sneak peaks. After getting a box full of goodies I got right to work so I hope I didn’t go overboard! All of these projects were made using Heartstrings & Heartstrings sentiments. I first stamped the heart and the sentiment on Vanilla Cupcake cardstock and popped them both with foam squares. I used the Je t’aime stamp to create a background for clear buttons. I stamped the wording onto cardstock, adhered the buttons with twine, and cut around the buttons. This simple sentiment would make a perfect baby card!
My second project is a sweet notebook that is tied up with heartstrings. After covering the notebook in coordinating cardstock I stamped the swirl stamp down one edge. I then started to build up by using two of the heart images. I stamped one in Strawberry Fool and the other in Chocolate Brownie then layered with embellishments already from my stash. Last I tied everything up using twine and a sentiment that reads: the best gifts are tied with heart strings.
Okay here’s the last creation! After using the perfect paper to coordinate the card I started out by using the dot strip on twine ribbon. Elyzbells pigment ink is perfect for this because of its rich color and its dries super fast so definitely pick these ink pads up if you love stamping on fabric! For the next layer I used the Je t’aime heart and the back ground stamp of the same to create my hearts. Tied everything with tulle and added a sentiment just because…

This week was one of my best friends birthday and even though we have our own lives and families to deal with I always like to make her something special. I love these little notebooks and they are going to be my go to gift for all my favorite people. I started out with some older Basic Grey paper, my go to plaid ribbon, and cute butterflies that were make using a die machine. I stamped Happy Birthday on two tags and applied them to the notebook and the mini card with twine. Well one Birthday down for the year and many more to come. Maybe I should order some more notebooks!!

I had the day off Thursday and I don’t know what got into me but I got quite a bit done with some new paper from Making Memories. One of my favorite projects was this cute little notebook. I started out by cutting the paper to fit around the entire pad to form a cover over the front. I then used some heavy duty adhesive on the back so everything would stay together. Gaffers measuring tape was used down the front and pink gems circle the number 14. I then scallop punched the cover, added embellishments, and tied it all together with a matching tag. These are great for to do lists and you can make them for just about anyone. I have a feeling that these are going to be a hit for Birthdays and Thank Yous!! If you love them too you can find them here!
